Pay Scale and Benefits

A. Standard Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian or recognized foreign university.
  • Relaxation of 5% marks for candidates from SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD categories.

NET/SET/SLET Requirement

  • Candidates must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET, unless exempted.
  • Ph.D. holders meeting UGC 2009/2016 regulations are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Exemption for Ph.D. Registered Before July 11, 2009

  • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode

NET Exemption for Certain Subjects
