• Minimum 1-year experience in the same trade after ITI.
• NAC holders are considered as experienced.

3. Mechanic-Cum-Operator (Welder) Grade-III (4 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

• SSC pass from a recognized board.

• 1-year experience in relevant trade after ITI completion.

Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

4. Mine Foreman-I (9 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying.
• Possess valid Mine Foreman’s / Second Class Manager’s / First Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted).

OR

• SSC pass with valid Foreman’s or Manager’s certificate of competency (Unrestricted).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years after acquiring the required certificate.

Age Limit: Up to 45 years (Relaxation as per rules).

Pay Scale: ₹26,900 – 3% – ₹48,770 (NE-08).

5. Select Grade Mine Foreman (5 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mining or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Mine Foreman’s / Second Class / First Class Manager’s Certificate (Unrestricted).

Experience:

• Minimum 1-year post-certificate experience.

OR

• Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying with valid competency certificate and 3 years’ experience.

OR

• SSC pass with valid competency certificate and 6 years’ experience.

Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

Pay Scale: ₹27,600 – 3% – ₹50,040 (NE-09).

6. Mine Mate Grade-I (23 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

• SSC pass.
• Possess valid Mine Mate Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years as Mine Mate in a reputed mining company.

Age Limit: Up to 40 years (relaxable up to 53 years depending on experience).

Pay Scale: ₹24,800 – 3% – ₹44,960 (NE-05).

7. Blaster Grade-II (8 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

• SSC pass.
• Possess valid Blaster’s Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted).

Experience:

• Minimum 1-year experience as Blaster in a mining organization.

Age Limit: Up to 35 years.

Pay Scale: ₹24,100 – 3% – ₹43,690 (NE-04).

Age Relaxation

The upper age limits mentioned above are as of 6th November 2025. Relaxations apply as per government norms:

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
• Departmental Candidates: No upper age limit
• Maximum Combined Age Limit: Not to exceed 53 years under any circumstances.

Reservation and Relaxation Policy
