Explanation:
- The no maximum age limit clause means that applicants should not have completed 60 years of age either on the date of notification or at the time of appointment.
- As per G.O.(Ms).No.443, Health and Family Welfare (L1) Department, dated 14.10.2025, this relaxation is a one-time measure applicable to all eligible OC (Open Category) applicants.
Note:
- Candidates who are currently employed in the State or Central Government and have completed 5 years or more of service are not eligible to apply under OC, BC, BCM, MBC/DNC categories.
- Ex-servicemen who have already been recruited for any government service will not be eligible for age concession again.
3. Gender Eligibility
- Only male candidates are eligible to apply for Health Inspector Grade-II as per the Tamil Nadu Public Health Subordinate Service rules.
Reservation Details
The rule of reservation as per the Tamil Nadu Government norms will apply to this recruitment. Below are key points:
- Community-based reservations will be followed for SC, ST, MBC/DNC, BC, BCM, and OC categories.
- 3.5% reservation within the 30% available for Backward Classes is applicable exclusively to Backward Class Muslims (BCM).
