Application Fees

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, including Divinity, from a recognized university.

Note:

  • Candidates must have their original documents ready for verification.
  • For the post of Assistant Research Officer, preference will be given to candidates with subjects such as History, Anthropology, Chemistry, Geography, Education, Archaeology, or Biology.

Selection Process

The NPSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025 will be conducted in three stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination:
    • Objective-type paper based on General Studies.
    • The syllabus and pattern are available on the official website.
  2. Main Examination:
    • Candidates qualifying in prelims will appear for descriptive mains papers.
  3. Interview/Viva Voce:
    • Shortlisted candidates from mains will be called for an interview.
    • Final selection will be based on overall performance.

Documents Required

Candidates must produce the following original and attested copies during the document verification and interview process:

  1. HSLC/Matriculation Admit Card (Proof of Date of Birth)
  2. Mark Sheets from HSLC onwards till degree
  3. Pass Certificates / Provisional Certificates
  4. PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
  5. Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate (IIC)
  6. ST/BT Certificates (if applicable)
  7. No Objection Certificate (for government employees)
  8. Experience or category certificates, if claiming reservation benefits

Physical Standards (for Uniformed Services)

For posts like DSP, Sub-Inspector, and Platoon Commander, candidates must meet the physical standards as per Notification No. PHQ(B-1)/Combined Recruitment/2015 dated 18th September 2018.

Reservation Policy

Reservation will be implemented as per the following government notifications:

  • RCBT 5/87(pt-III) dated 23.03.2022
  • PwBD reservation as per AR-3/Gen-9/97 dated 13.08.2020 and subsequent amendments.
