Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2nd Class in the concerned subject
- At least 55% marks or equivalent OGPA
- Master’s Degree
- Minimum 2nd Class in the concerned subject
- At least 55% marks or equivalent OGPA
- NET Qualification
- Must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/ICAR/CSIR or equivalent
- Must have at least one publication in a NAAS-rated journal
- Ph.D. Exemption Criteria (as per UGC 2009 regulations)
Candidates with Ph.D. in the concerned subject (with coursework) are exempted from NET, provided:- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
- Evaluation by at least two external examiners
- Open viva-voce conducted
- Two research papers published from Ph.D. work
- Two conference/seminar presentations
- Relaxation
- 5% relaxation in marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates
- NET Awaiting Candidates

Salary Scale
- Level 10 (Cell 1)
- ₹57,700 per month
- Plus usual DA and other allowances as per rules.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on the following weightage:
- Academic Record – 40%
- Written Test – 30%
- Research Publications – 10%
- NAAS 4–6 → 2 Marks
- NAAS >6–8 → 6 Marks
- NAAS >8 → 10 Marks
- Viva-Voce – 20%

- Candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:4 based on the first 80 marks (Academic + Written + Publication).
