Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Must be one of the following:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugee (before 1 Jan 1962), or
- Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years
- Ex-Servicemen/1984 riots: As per Government norms
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidate must have the final degree/mark sheet on or before 23 November 2025.
Local Language Proficiency
- Reading, writing and speaking ability in the state’s mandatory language is compulsory.
Experience (Mandatory)
- Minimal 1 time of post-qualification experience in pastoral/ Officer skeleton in:
- Scheduled Commercial Bank
- Regional Rural Bank
Advance increments may be provided based on relevant past service.
Pay Scale (JMGS-I)
The pay scale for Junior Management Grade Scale–I (JMGS–I) is structured as follows:
Along with the basic pay, the selected officer will receive:
- Initial basic pay starts at ₹48,480 per month
- Annual increment of ₹2,000 for the first 7 years
- Then, increment of ₹2,340 for the next 2 years
- After that, increment of ₹2,680 for the next 7 years
- Maximum basic pay will reach ₹85,920 per month
Selection Process
PNB will conduct a four-stage selection process:
- Online Written Test
- Screening
- Language Proficiency Test
- Personal Interview
Final merit list will be setstate-wise andcategory-wise.
