Educational Qualifications

1. Directorate of Fisheries

Junior Engineer (Civil)

• 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering
  OR
• Higher qualification in the same discipline.

Assistant Director Fisheries

Candidates must possess one of the following:

Option A:

• Master’s in Fisheries Science
• 5 years’ experience in development & management of pisciculture

Option B:

• Master’s in Science (Zoology)
• 1-year training in Inland Fisheries & Aquaculture (ICAR-recognized)
• 5 years’ experience

Option C:

• Bachelor’s in Fisheries Science
• 7 years’ experience

Option D:

• B.Sc. with Zoology
• 1-year ICAR-recognized training
• 7 years’ experience

Note: Experience must be from Government institutions only.

2. Punjab Bureau of Investigation

Senior Forensics Supervisor

• Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science or equivalent
• 13 years professional experience in Govt./Quasi-Govt./Accredited Forensic Labs, Chemical Examiner Labs, or Public Sector labs

Legal Advisor

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with minimum 50% marks
• Minimum 12 years of practice at the Bar

3. Department of Local Government

Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  OR
• Higher qualification in the relevant discipline.

Punjabi Language Requirement

As per Rule 17 of Punjab Civil Services Rules, candidates must have:

• Passed Matriculation with Punjabi
  OR
• Equivalent exam with Punjabi

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

Pay Scale

All posts carry the 7th CPC pay scale of:

₹35,400/- per month
