The Shivamogga, Davangere, and Chitradurga District Cooperative Milk Producers Societies Union Limited (popularly known as SHIMUL) has released a revised notification for recruitment in 2025. This is a golden opportunity for candidates seeking government cooperative sector jobs in Karnataka. The recruitment drive is for filling up various posts under different cadres, and the revised order now makes all 194 vacancies open for direct recruitment under the general category. Interested candidates can apply online between 29th August 2025 and 29th September 2025.

A total of 194 posts are available under SHIMUL Recruitment 2025. Out of these, 27 posts were previously reserved for employees of milk unions and cooperative societies but have now been included for direct recruitment. Candidates who had already applied earlier will be considered under the new rules without needing to reapply.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

(as of 29th September 2025)

  • General Category: 18 to 35 years
  • 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Categories: 18 to 38 years
  • SC/ST/Category-1: 18 to 40 years

Age Relaxations:

  • Ex-Servicemen: up to 10 years (based on service rendered)
  • NCC Cadet Instructors: relaxation for service period
  • Widows: 10 years
  • Persons with Disabilities: 10 years

Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)

  • Assistant Managers (F&F): B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree from a recognized university.
  • Extension Officer Grade-3: Any degree with knowledge of computer operations.
  • Chemist Grade-2 (Chemistry): B.Sc. with Chemistry as a subject + computer knowledge.
  • Chemist Grade-2 (Microbiology): B.Sc. with Microbiology as a subject + computer knowledge.
  • Junior System Operator: Any degree + 1-year diploma in Computer Applications + 3 years’ experience.
  • Junior Technician (Electrical): SSLC + ITI in Electrical trade with NTC/Provisional NTC/NCVT certificate.
  • Junior Technician (Refrigeration – MRAC): SSLC + ITI in Refrigeration trade with NTC/NCVT certificate.
  • Junior Technician (Boiler Attendant): SSLC + Boiler Attendant Grade-1/Grade-2 certificate or equivalent apprenticeship certification.

Salary Scale (Revised Pay Structure)

  • Assistant Managers (F&F): ₹83,700 – ₹1,55,200
  • Extension Officer Grade-3: ₹54,175 – ₹99,400
  • Chemist Grade-2 (Chemistry): ₹44,425 – ₹83,700
  • Chemist Grade-2 (Microbiology): ₹44,425 – ₹83,700
  • Junior System Operator: ₹44,425 – ₹83,700
  • Junior Technician (Electrical): ₹34,100 – ₹67,600
  • Junior Technician (Refrigeration – MRAC): ₹34,100 – ₹67,600
  • Junior Technician (Boiler Attendant): ₹34,100 – ₹67,600

Reservation Rules

  • Seats are reserved as per Government of Karnataka norms for SC, ST, OBC, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Rural candidates, Project Displaced Persons, and Third Gender candidates.
  • If suitable candidates are not available in a particular reserved category, the vacancy will be filled by candidates from the same broader category.

Disqualifications

A candidate will be considered ineligible if:

  • They are not a citizen of India.
  • They are declared bankrupt or legally disqualified.
  • They are convicted of criminal offenses or moral turpitude.
  • They were dismissed from government or cooperative service.
  • They provided false or misleading information in the application.

Selection Process

  • The selection will be based on written examination and/or interview as per the specific post.
  • Candidates must produce all original documents during verification.
  • Any discrepancy in documents or false claims will result in disqualification and possible legal action.

Other Conditions

  • Knowledge of Kannada language (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
