Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Applicants must have:

• A Diploma in Dental Hygienist from an institution recognized by the Indian Dental Council.
• Valid registration under the Dentist Registration Tribunal, Uttarakhand.
  (Registration must be valid up to the last date of the application.)

2. Desirable Qualification (Preference)

Preference shall be given to candidates possessing:

• Minimum two years’ service in the Territorial Army, OR
• NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate

3. Domicile Requirements

Candidates must fulfill one of the following conditions:

• Must be a permanent resident/domicile of Uttarakhand, OR
• Must have completed the qualifying education from Uttarakhand as per rules.

Selection Process

Selection for the Dental Hygienist posts will be conducted through the following:

• Total Marks: 100
• Exam Mode: OMR-based
• Negative Marking: 1/4 for each wrong answer

Qualifying Marks

• General / OBC / EWS: 45%
• SC / ST: 35%

Exam Syllabus

• General Hindi: 20 Marks
• General Knowledge: 40 Marks
• General Studies: 40 Marks

There is no interview, and the final merit list will be strictly based on written examination marks.
