Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must have any one of the following degrees/diplomas from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council:

  1. B.Sc. Nursing (Honours)
  2. Regular B.Sc. Nursing
  3. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
  4. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma
  5. Psychiatric Nursing Diploma

Registration Requirement

  • Candidates must have a valid and renewed registration certificate issued by the Uttarakhand Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Age Relaxation

Applicable as per Uttarakhand government rules:

  • SC/ST/OBC of Uttarakhand: +5 years

  • Ex-Servicemen: Service duration will be deducted from actual age, plus relaxation if applicable according to rules.
