Eligibility Criteria
(A) Gender Requirement
- Only women candidates are eligible for the Anganwadi Worker positions.
(B) Educational Qualification
- Minimum Qualification:
Intermediate (12th pass) or an equivalent recognized qualification. - Maximum Qualification:
Post-Graduation (PG)
(Merit will be calculated based on marks from 12th to PG.)
(C) Local Residency Requirement
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of:
- The same Gram Sabha/Ward where the vacancy exists.
- If no eligible candidate is found, residents of the concerned Nyay Panchayat may be considered.
(D) Priority Categories (as per rules)
Priority will be given in the following order:
- Widow women from BPL families of the same Gram Sabha/Ward
- Legally divorced women
- Deserted/abandoned women
- Women belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families
- If none available, then widows/divorced/deserted women from Above Poverty Line (APL) families
