The Uttar Pradesh Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) has officially announced a major recruitment drive for Anganwadi Sahayika and Anganwadi Worker posts under various rural and urban project areas in Kasganj and Sultanpur districts. The recruitment will be conducted through an online application process, inviting eligible women candidates from the concerned Gram Sabha or Ward. This recruitment strictly follows the latest government guidelines for Anganwadi engagement, and aims to fill a total of 1819 vacancies, including 1812 posts in Kasganj and 7 posts in Sultanpur. Eligibility Criteria

1. Gender Requirement

Only female candidates are eligible for both Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Sahayika posts.

2. Educational Qualification

For Anganwadi Worker / Anganwadi Sahayika:
  • Minimum: Intermediate (12th Pass) or equivalent
  • Maximum qualification considered for merit: Post Graduation
  • Merit list will be prepared based on highest educational qualification.

3. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years
  • Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2025.
  • Date of birth mentioned in High School Certificate will be considered valid.

4. Residential Requirement

Candidate must be a permanent resident of:

  • The same Gram Sabha, or
  • The same Ward in urban areas

Priority will be given to:

  1. Widows (BPL families)
  2. Legally divorced women
  3. Abandoned/separated women

If no eligible candidate is found under BPL category, then selection will move to:

  • APL widows/divorced women
  • APL women from the same Gram Sabha/Ward

5. Reservation Rules

  • Reservation will apply as per UP Government norms.
  • Applicable categories: UR, OBC, SC, ST
  • Online caste certificate with Digital Signature is mandatory.

Selection Process

The selection will follow these steps:

Salary (Honorarium)

As per the norms of Uttar Pradesh ICDS scheme:

Anganwadi Worker

  • Approximately ₹5,500 – ₹8,000 per month (as per project area and state rules)

Anganwadi Sahayika

  • Approximately ₹3,500 – ₹4,500 per month

Final honorarium will be paid according to the government’s latest orders.
