Eligibility Criteria
1. Gender Requirement
Only female candidates are eligible for both Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Sahayika posts.
2. Educational Qualification
For Anganwadi Worker / Anganwadi Sahayika:
- Minimum: Intermediate (12th Pass) or equivalent
- Maximum qualification considered for merit: Post Graduation
- Merit list will be prepared based on highest educational qualification.
3. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2025.
- Date of birth mentioned in High School Certificate will be considered valid.
4. Residential Requirement
Candidate must be a permanent resident of:
- The same Gram Sabha, or
- The same Ward in urban areas
Priority will be given to:
- Widows (BPL families)
- Legally divorced women
- Abandoned/separated women
If no eligible candidate is found under BPL category, then selection will move to:
- APL widows/divorced women
- APL women from the same Gram Sabha/Ward
5. Reservation Rules
- Reservation will apply as per UP Government norms.
- Applicable categories: UR, OBC, SC, ST
- Online caste certificate with Digital Signature is mandatory.

Salary (Honorarium)

- Approximately ₹3,500 – ₹4,500 per month
Final honorarium will be paid according to the government’s latest orders.
