The Department of Child Development Services and Nutrition, Uttar Pradesh has officially invited online applications for the post of Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) in Lakhimpur Kheri district for the year 2025–26. These appointments will be made on a contractual, honorarium-based basis under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) projects running in urban and rural areas of the district. Application Fee

There is no application fee for applying to the post of Anganwadi Sahayika.

Eligibility Criteria

Gender Requirement

Only female candidates are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum qualification: Intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent
  • Maximum qualification: Postgraduate
    Merit will be prepared based on educational qualifications.

Domicile Requirement

The applicant must be a resident of:

  • The same Gram Sabha (for rural areas), or
  • The same Ward (for urban areas)

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years

The date of birth mentioned in the High School certificate will be considered final.

Priority Rules in Selection

Selection will follow a structured priority order:

  1. Widows, legally divorced women, or abandoned women belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) category from the same Gram Sabha or Ward.
  2. If candidates from the above category are not available, BPL-category women from the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be considered.
  3. If still unavailable, widows, divorced, or abandoned women from Above Poverty Line (APL) category from the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
  4. If none of the above categories are available, any APL woman from the same Gram Sabha/Ward.

Valid Proofs Required for Priority Categories

For Widows

  • Death certificate issued by Gram Panchayat or local municipal body
  • Updated family register copy

For Divorced or Abandoned Women

  • Legal order issued by a competent court

Required Documents

Candidates must upload clear, self-attested, readable scanned copies of the following documents:

  2. Intermediate mark sheet or certificate
  3. Caste certificate (if applicable)
