Educational Qualification

Selection Process
The selection process for the post of Assistant Prosecution Officer consists of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination: Conducted across various districts of Uttar Pradesh. This is a screening test, and the marks obtained are not counted in the final selection.
- Main (Written) Examination: Candidates qualifying the preliminary stage will be eligible for the main examination. The final selection is based on the total marks obtained in the main written exam and interview.

Online Application Procedure
Applications for this recruitment will be accepted only through the O.T.R.-based Online Application System provided on the official UPPSC website. Candidates cannot submit applications via post, email, or any other offline method.
The online application process involves four stages:
Stage 1: O.T.R. Authentication
- Candidates must first obtain a One-Time Registration (O.T.R.) Number through the official O.T.R. portal.
- Upon obtaining the O.T.R. number, candidates will authenticate themselves using either an OTP sent to their registered mobile/email or their O.T.R. password.
- Personal details from the O.T.R. registration will be automatically displayed, and candidates only need to fill in additional qualifications relevant to the post.
Stage 2: Application Form Submission
- After O.T.R. authentication, the Applicant Dashboard will open automatically.
- Candidates must submit their personal details, correspondence address, and qualifications.

Stage 3: Fee Payment
- The application fee is mandatory for all candidates and can be paid via net banking, card payment, or other online modes through the SBI MOPS system.
