Reservation Details:
The vacancies are distributed across various social categories like SC, ST, VJ-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, OBC, SEBC, and EWS, as well as Open Category. Furthermore, horizontal (parallel) reservation is applicable for Women, Ex-Servicemen, Sports Persons, Project-Affected Persons, Drought-Affected Persons, Persons with Disability (PwD), Orphans, and Graduate/Postgraduate Unemployed candidates, as per government norms.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria for the post they are applying for. The most critical criterion is being a Project-Affected Person for VNMKV, Parbhani.

A. Primary Eligibility: Project-Affected Person (PAP)

  • The candidate must belong to a family whose land/house was acquired by the Government for the VNMKV, Parbhani project.
  • The candidate must submit a valid Project-Affected Person (PAP) certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • A family tree (Vanshavali) establishing the relationship with the original project-affected person must be submitted.
  • An affidavit stating that no other family member has secured a government job using the same PAP certificate must be provided.
  • A copy of the possession certificate proving that the land/house was handed over to the university must be submitted.

B. Age Limit (as on December 24, 2025):

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age for Unreserved Category: 38 years
  • Maximum Age for Reserved Categories: 43 years
  • Maximum Age for Persons with Disability (PwD): 45 years
  • Maximum Age for Graduate/Postgraduate Unemployed: 55 years

Age Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen: 38 years + period of service in the armed forces + 3 additional years.

C. Educational Qualifications:
The educational qualifications are specific to each post. Here is a summary of the essential qualifications for key posts:

  • Junior Research Assistant: A degree in a relevant branch from an Agricultural University.
  • Assistant (Degree): A graduation degree in any discipline.
  • Agriculture Assistant (Diploma/Degree): A diploma or degree in Agriculture or a related field.
  • Sub-Overseer / Electrician / Tractor Driver: SSC passed + relevant ITI certificate in the trade + one-year NCVT vocational certificate.
  • Junior Clerk / Laboratory Attendant / Library Attendant: SSC passed. For Junior Clerk, additional requirements include a degree and a typing speed certificate in Marathi and English.
  • Driver: SSC passed + valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) or Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license.
  • Peon / Laboratory Servant: SSC passed.

Salary Scale and Emoluments

The selected candidates will be appointed in the respective pay scales as per the Maharashtra Government rules. The pay scales for the advertised posts are as follows:

  • Junior Research Assistant: Pay Level S-13: ₹ 35,400 – ₹ 112,400
  • Assistant (Degree) / Agriculture Assistant (Diploma) / Agriculture Assistant (Degree) / Electrician / Sub-Overseer: Pay Level S-08: ₹ 25,500 – ₹ 81,100
  • Library Assistant / Tractor Driver: Pay Level S-07: ₹ 21,700 – ₹ 69,100
  • Junior Clerk / Driver / Laboratory Attendant / Library Attendant: Pay Level S-06: ₹ 19,900 – ₹ 63,200
  • Laboratory Servant / Peon: Pay Level S-01: ₹ 15,000 – ₹ 47,600

These are the basic pay scales, and the employees will also be eligible for other allowances as per the state government norms. It is important to note that the New Contributory Pension Scheme will be applicable, and the old pension scheme is not applicable for these positions.

The Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the following stages:

  1. Phase I: Online Written Examination (Computer-Based Test)
    • The examination will be conducted by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).
    • It will be an objective, multiple-choice question (MCQ) based test.
    • The exam will be of 100 questions, but the total marks will vary by post (either 200 marks or 120 marks).
    • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours for 100-question papers and 1.5 hours for 60-question papers.
    • The question paper will typically cover:
      • Marathi Language
      • English Language
      • General Knowledge
      • Intellectual Test (Reasoning)

    • The minimum passing marks are 45%.

  • Domicile: Benefits of reservation are available only to candidates who are domiciles of Maharashtra State.
