Eligibility Criteria (Point-to-Point)

Eligibility shall strictly follow UGC Regulations 2018, State Government Orders, and University Rules.

Academic Requirements

  1. The candidate must have a Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 55% marks.
  2. NET/SLET/SET qualification mandatory unless exempted.
  3. Ph.D. holders (under UGC 2009 or 2016 Regulations) are exempted from NET.
  4. For engineering branches, qualifications must comply with AICTE norms.
  5. Degrees from foreign institutions must have AIU equivalence.

Relaxations

  • 5% relaxation (55% → 50%) for Ph.D. recipients awarded before 19 September 1991.
  • NET/SLET/SET is not required for subjects where these tests are not conducted.

Eligibility Notes

Pay Scale

Selection Process

The selection procedure includes multiple stages:

Written Examination

All applicants must appear for the written test conducted by the university.

Teaching Skill Test

Shortlisted candidates will undergo a PowerPoint-based teaching demonstration to assess subject knowledge and teaching competency.

Research Score (API) Evaluation

  • University will publish API scores on its website.
  • Candidates may raise objections within 7 days of publication.

Interview

Only candidates who meet academic scores and performance criteria will be called for the final interview.
