Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Essential:
- MBBS degree qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate degree in the concerned Specialty or Super-specialty (as per Schedule VI of MCI norms).
- Minimum three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident/Tutor/Registrar in the concerned specialty after obtaining the postgraduate qualification.
- Special Note:
- DM/M.Ch. (3 years) shall count towards teaching experience.
- DM/M.Ch. (5 years) – last two years count towards teaching experience.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 40 years as on the date of interview.
- Age Relaxation: As per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates.
Pay Scale
The contractual remuneration offered for the post of Assistant Professor is as follows:
