Experience Requirements
EIL is seeking candidates with relevant experience in high-end engineering projects. The post-qualification experience required varies from 5 to 9 years, depending on the position and engineering discipline. Experience in the following domains is preferred:
- Process Engineering for refineries, petrochemical plants, gas processing, fertilizer units, chemical plants, offshore facilities, pipelines, and LNG projects.
- Mechanical Engineering in design, engineering, and procurement of complex equipment, both static and rotating machinery. Familiarity with international and industry codes such as API, ISO, ASME, and TEMA is preferred.
- Environment, Water & Safety Engineering in design and operation of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, zero-liquid discharge systems, and waste-to-energy plants.
- Electrical Engineering for industrial and refinery projects, including smart plant electrical systems and electrical system studies via ETAP.
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering in design and execution of instrumentation systems and control solutions for onshore and offshore facilities.
- Piping Engineering with experience in stress analysis and design of piping systems using software like CEASAR.
- Metallurgy/Materials/Corrosion Control Engineering with experience in material selection, corrosion risk assessment, and failure analysis in oil, gas, and chemical industries.
- Specialization in Civil/Structural Engineering, including RCC and steel structure analysis, design of pre-fabricated and pre-cast buildings, foundation engineering, and dynamic support systems for machinery.

Associate Engineer Grade II
- Process Engineer (Chemical) – 7 positions; maximum age 37 years; preference for refinery, chemical, fertilizer, and offshore projects.
- SMEDII Mechanical Engineer – 5 positions; maximum age 37 years; expertise in rotating/package equipment design and engineering.
- SMEDI Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment) – 6 positions; maximum age 37 years; design experience in reactors, columns, tanks, heat exchangers using PVElite, Bentley AutoPipe, etc.
- Environment, Water & Safety Engineer – 2 positions; maximum age 37 years; design and engineering of wastewater and water treatment systems.
Associate Engineer Grade III
- Chemical Process Engineer – 13 openings; upper age limit 41 years; candidates should possess experience in process and safety engineering within chemical and refinery plants.
- Electrical Engineer – 2 positions; maximum age 41 years; experience in design, engineering, and smart plant electrical systems.
- Instrumentation Engineer – 4 positions; maximum age 41 years; design and control system experience for industrial plants.
- Piping Engineer – 5 vacancies; age limit up to 41 years; candidates should have expertise in piping design and stress analysis using CEASAR software.
- SMMS Engineer (Materials/Corrosion) – 1 position; maximum age 41 years; experience in material selection and corrosion assessment.

Place of Posting
The primary posting location for selected candidates will be the National Capital Region (NCR). However, depending on project requirements, postings may be assigned anywhere in India or abroad. Candidates must be willing to travel and relocate as per organizational needs.
Remuneration and Benefits
