Contract Tenure & Compensation

  • Contract Duration: 3 years (subject to annual performance evaluation)
  • Monthly Remuneration: As specified above
  • Additional Allowances:
    • House Rent Allowance (HRA): Overman – Rs. 5,890/-; Mining Sirdar – Rs. 3,750/-
    • Mines Allowance: Overman – Rs. 3,800/-; Mining Sirdar – Rs. 3,500/-
    • Recompense Allowance: Applicable based on attendance and role
  • Annual Performance-Based Enhancement: 3% increment on consolidated remuneration

The contract is terminable with one month’s notice from either party.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The age criteria for applicants are designed to ensure candidates possess adequate maturity and professional experience:

  • General (UR): Maximum 32 years as of 01.09.2025
  • SC/ST: +5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years
  • PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): +10 years
  • Exempted Category (EC): Up to 45 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (ExSM): Deduction of military service period from actual age, subject to maximum of 45 years

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma in Mining Engineering with valid certificates of competency from DGMS
  • Experience in coal mines as per post requirements

Professional Experience:

  • Overman – 1 to 5 years depending on certificate type
  • Mining Sirdar – 1 to 2 years depending on certificate type

Note: Only DGMS-authorized experience certificates will be accepted.
