Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess the required educational and technical qualifications for the post applied for on or before the closing date.
  • Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible.

How to Apply

The RRB recruitment process is completely online. Candidates must follow these steps:

1. Create an Account

  • Visit the official RRB website for your region and create an account.
  • Candidates who already have an account from previous RRB recruitments can use the same credentials.
  • Having a working mobile number and email ID is compulsory.
  • Details entered during account creation cannot be changed later, so candidates must provide accurate information.

2. Identity Authentication

  • Applicants should verify their identity through DigiLocker or Aadhaar.
  • Using alternate photo IDs may lead to stricter scrutiny during later stages.

3. Fill Online Application

  • Enter personal, educational, and technical details carefully.
  • Submit your photo and signature following the specified format.
  • Pay the application fee online.

4. Application Correction / Modification

  • Corrections (except “Create an Account” details and chosen RRB) can be made from 11th to 20th September 2025 by paying a modification fee of ₹250 per occasion.
  • After 20th September, no modifications will be allowed.

Examination Process

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • All candidates must appear for the online CBT.
  • Centres are allocated based on technical and logistical feasibility, and candidates may need to travel to other cities.
  • A one-third mark penalty will be applied for every incorrect answer.

2. Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination

  • Shortlisting for DV is RRB-wise at a 1:1 ratio with respect to vacancies.
  • Applicants will receive updates through the RRB websites, text messages, and email.
  • Medical fitness is mandatory for final selection.

General Instructions

  • Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements including age, qualifications, and medical standards.
  • Only one application per post per candidate is allowed; multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
