1. Educational Qualification:
- For Graduate Apprentices: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any stream (e.g., B.E., B.Com., B.A., B.Sc., B.C.A., etc.) from a recognized University or Institute.

- Successfully completed the 10th standard examination under the 10+2 education system or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid COPA Trade Certificate issued by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT).
2. Age Limit (as on 01/09/2025):
- Minimum Age: 14 years.
- Maximum Age: No upper age limit.
- Important Note: Candidates between 14-18 years are considered minors and must have their apprenticeship contract signed by a parent or legal guardian.
3. Essential Conditions:
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in the same trade under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in any organization are not eligible.
- For Graduate Apprentices Only: You must not have completed three years after passing your qualifying degree examination as of 1st September 2025.
Pay Scale (Stipend): Earn While You Learn
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as mandated by the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. The exact amount will be in accordance with the prevailing rates set by the government for apprentice training.

Selection Process: The Road to Selection
The selection will be transparent and based strictly on merit, with a defined preference system.
- For Graduate Apprentices:
- Selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the degree examination.
- In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
- Priority will be given to children or dependents of MbPA employees.
- For COPA Trade Apprentices:
- The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of total marks obtained in both semesters of the COPA ITI Trade Exam.
- Higher Qualifications Get Preference: Candidates with additional higher qualifications will be ranked in this descending order: Post Graduate > Graduate > 3-Year Diploma > 12th Pass.
- A tie-breaker will be resolved in favour of the older candidate.
