Ammunition Factory Khadki, Pune, has announced 50 apprenticeship positions for individuals who recently completed their engineering degree or diploma in technical fields.
The training will be provided under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, and the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973. This program aims to enhance the industrial, technical, and practical skills of young engineering professionals.
The apprenticeship period will be for one full year, during which selected apprentices will work in various engineering divisions of the factory.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
A. Graduate Engineering Apprentices
Candidates must have one of the following:
- A degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university
- A degree awarded by an institution authorized by an Act of Parliament
- A recognized equivalent qualification from a professional body
- A sandwich course student eligible for degree-level training
B. Diploma (Technician) Apprentices
Candidates must have one of the following:
- A Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a State Technical Board
- A Diploma from a recognized University
- A Diploma from a State/Central Government-approved institute
- A sandwich course Diploma student
Additional Eligibility Rules
- Only fresh pass-outs are eligible.
- Candidates must not have completed more than 3 years from the date of passing their qualification.
- Candidates with 1 year or more job experience or previous apprenticeship training cannot apply.
- If the gap between passing-out and training start date is more than one year, the candidate must submit an affidavit in the prescribed format.
- Only candidates from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions will be accepted.
Pay Scale (Stipend)
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly consolidated stipend as per government rules:
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹9,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentice: ₹8,000 per month
No additional allowances, accommodation, or benefits will be provided.
Selection Process
The selection process will follow several steps:
Merit-Based Selection
- A merit list will be prepared based on final year marks of Degree/Diploma.
- Reservation rules will apply as per Apprentice (Amendment) Rules 2015.
- The merit list will be displayed on the official website of Munitions India Limited.
No Personal Communication
- Candidates will not receive individual emails or letters.
- They must check the official website regularly for updates.
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates must bring the following documents:
- Aadhaar card
- SSC certificate & mark sheet (DOB proof)
- Final year mark sheet (front & back)
- Category certificate, NCL certificate for OBC, PH certificate (if applicable)
- Declaration/Affidavit
Failure to produce original documents will result in rejection.
Medical Examination
- Candidates clearing document verification will undergo a Medical Test.
- Only medically FIT candidates will be allowed to join.
Police Verification
- Online Police Clearance is mandatory before joining.
CGPA Conversion
Candidates with CGPA must bring their university’s official CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate.
Reservation Rules
- Reservation will apply for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH categories as per Apprentice Rules.
- OBC candidates must submit a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate valid on the closing date.
- Without proper category documents, candidates will be treated as Unreserved.
Application Process (Step-by-Step)
Step 1 – Fill the Application Form
- Fill the Annexure-A application form carefully.
Step 2 – Prepare the Envelope
- Put the form in a sealed envelope.
- Write on the top:

Step 3 – Submit by Post

Step 4 – Fill the Google Form
- Filling the Google Form is mandatory.
- Applications without the Google Form entry will be rejected.
Step 5 – Register on NATS Portal
Candidates must register on the NATS apprenticeship portal.
This will be checked during document verification.
Step 6 – Keep All Documents Ready
Original and photocopies of all required certificates must be carried during verification.
Step 7 – Wait for Merit List
Results and schedules will be posted on the official website.
