Essential Qualifications

For Senior Residents (Non-Academic):

  1. Medical Qualification:
    • Must possess a medical degree included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
    • Candidates with Part II qualifications must fulfill Section 13 (3) conditions of the Act.
  2. Registration:
    • Must be registered with the Central or State Medical Council.
  3. Postgraduate Degree Requirements:
    • Broad Speciality Departments: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty or equivalent.
    • Super Specialty Departments: MD/MS/DNB in related broad specialty plus DM/M.Ch/DNB in the concerned super specialty.
