Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 years (as on the date of Walk-in Assessment – 28th October 2025).
- Age Relaxation:

2. Educational Qualifications
Applicants must meet any of the following qualification criteria depending on their specialization:
- DM/MCh/DrNB/MD/MS in the relevant specialty from a recognized university/institute.
- MD/MS in the basic specialty with at least 3 years’ experience, including 1 year preferably in the concerned super specialty.
- MBBS degree with 3 years of experience, out of which 2 years must be in the relevant specialty.
All candidates must have a valid DMC registration certificate at the time of interview.
Tenure & Appointment Terms
- The initial appointment period will be for 89 days, which may be extended in similar blocks depending on performance, requirement, and administrative approval.
- However, the total tenure of Senior Residency shall not exceed four years under any circumstances.
- The appointment will cease automatically on completion of tenure or on joining of a regular appointee, whichever is earlier.
- All appointees will be governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Janakpuri Super Speciality Hospital Society (JSSHS) and the Government of NCT of Delhi.
Remuneration / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive salary and allowances as per Revised Pay Rules, Level 11 of the 7th Central Pay Commission:
- Pay Scale: ₹67,700 per month (Basic Pay)
- Allowances: Admissible as per rules approved by the Governing Council of JSSHS
- Additional benefits may include DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other applicable allowances as per institutional policy.

Category Certificate Requirements

- The “Non-Creamy Layer” certificate must be issued within three months before the last date of application.
- EWS Category: Candidates must submit a valid Income & Asset Certificate for the ongoing financial year.
- SC/ST Category: Certificate must be issued by competent judicial or revenue authority.
- PwD Category: Candidates must attach a valid Disability Certificate issued by a recognized Disability Board.
