Age Limit

- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (UR/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years
- The domicile age criteria for J&K residents (born 1980-1989) ranges from 5 to 10 years based on the category.

Salary / Stipend
- ITI Apprentices: Between ₹7,000 – ₹7,700 per month depending on trade
- Diploma Trainees: ₹29,990 per month plus prevailing DA
- Graduate Operational Trainees: ₹29,990 per month in the first year, ₹30,890 in the second year plus DA
- Management Trainees: Receive a training stipend; after training, appointed as Assistant Superintendent/Assistant Manager with a salary range of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000.
Additional benefits include company-subsidized accommodation (subject to availability), medical facilities, and other allowances after absorption.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma Trainees:
- Diploma in Mining, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from a government-recognized college.
- Minimum 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC-NCL and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Graduate Operational Trainees (GOTs):
- B.Sc. in relevant streams (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) with minimum marks as mentioned above.
ITI Apprentices:
- A valid ITI certificate in the specified trade from an accredited institute.
- Registration on NAPS portal is mandatory.
- Minimum 40% marks in ITI exams.
How to Apply
ITI Apprentices (ECL):
- Submit application through Speed Post or Registered Post only.
- Attach all required documents, including ITI certificates, mark sheets, caste/EWS/PwBD certificates, ID proof, and a copy of your NAPS registration.
- Submit these documents to ECL’s HR department before the specified deadline.
Diploma / GOT / MT Trainees (UCIL):

Reservation Policy
