Note:

• Candidates will be placed on fixed pay for the first five years as per Gujarat Government finance resolutions.
• After completion of the contractual period, regular pay scale and allowances will be applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Junior Clerk / Typist

• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC-recognized university.
  • Certificate of Basic Computer Knowledge from a recognized institute (as per GAD resolutions dated 13.08.2008 and 18.03.2016).
• Desirable:
  • Proficiency in Gujarati and English typing and data operation skills.
• Additional Requirement:
  • Must pass C.C.C. (Course on Computer Concept) and Hindi/Gujarati Higher Level Examination during the contractual period, if not already cleared.
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years.

2. Junior Stenographer

• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate from a UGC-recognized university.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat.
  • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and English languages.
• Stenography Skills:
  • English shorthand speed: 90 w.p.m, or
  • Gujarati shorthand speed: 60 w.p.m.
  • Preference will be given to candidates proficient in both English and Gujarati stenography and typing.
• Desirable:
  • Must clear C.C.C. and Hindi/Gujarati Higher Level Examinations during the contractual period, if not passed earlier.
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years.

Age Relaxation

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per Government of Gujarat norms for reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwD).
