The Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Hospital, Okhla, New Delhi, has announced for the recruitment of Senior Residents (Contractual/against GDMO) and Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialists. The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview scheduled on 11th November 2025, offering an excellent opportunity for medical professionals to serve in one of the leading hospitals under ESIC.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 40 vacancies across multiple specialties including Anaesthesia & ICU, Biochemistry, Chest, Dermatology, Eye, Microbiology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Pathology, Paediatrics, Radiology, Surgery, and Accident & Emergency.

Eligibility Criteria
For Senior Resident (Contractual & GDMO)
- Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
- Must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council.
- If PG/Diploma candidates are not available, MBBS doctors with at least 2 years of experience (including 1 year in the concerned specialty in a Govt./Private Hospital, not a clinic) may be considered.
- Age Limit:
- Maximum 45 years as on 11.11.2025.
- Relaxation as per government rules (SC/ST/OBC).
For Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialists
- Educational Qualification:
- MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
- 3 years’ post-PG degree experience OR 5 years’ post-PG diploma experience.
- Must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council.
- Age Limit:
- Not exceeding 69 years as on 11.11.2025.
Pay Scale
- Senior Resident (Contractual/GDMO): ₹1,46,232/- per month
- Deduction of ₹1,350/- for Diploma holders
- Deduction of ₹2,250/- for MBBS without PG/Diploma
- Full-Time Contractual Specialist:
- Junior Specialist (3 years’ experience post-PG) – ₹1,46,232/- per month
- Senior Specialist (5 years’ experience post-PG) – ₹1,70,208/- per month
- Part-Time Contractual Specialist:
- ₹60,000/- per month (16 hours per week)
- ₹15,000/- extra for emergency calls
- ₹800/- per additional hour beyond 16 hours/week
Selection Process
- The selection will be made through a walk-in interview.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on educational qualifications, work experience, and performance during the interview.
- Preference will be given to PG-qualified candidates.
- The decision of the selection board will be final and binding.
