The District AYUSH Committee of Garhwa has announced an important recruitment drive for Yoga Instructors (Male and Female) on a sessional remuneration basis. These instructors will serve under Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AYUSH) and other health institutions across Garhwa district. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must fulfill one of the following educational qualifications:

- Certification as a Yoga Instructor under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).
Experience (Desirable)

Age Limit

Salary / Remuneration
The remuneration for the post of Yoga Instructor is ₹250 per session.
- Each yoga session will be of 2 hours duration.
- The number of sessions will vary by block and center, as per the schedule of AYUSH activities.
- On average, male instructors may conduct 32 sessions per month while female instructors may conduct 20 sessions per month.
- This ensures fair workload distribution while also encouraging participation across genders.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be carried out in the following stages:
- Application Scrutiny: All applications received by the deadline will be checked for eligibility, educational qualifications, and documents.
- Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates will appear for an interview before the District Selection Committee.
- Final Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications, interview performance, and experience. In case of a tie, marks obtained in the yoga course will act as the deciding factor.
- Local Preference: Priority will be given to candidates residing within 3–5 km of the concerned Ayushman Arogya Mandir.
Place of Posting
The selected Yoga Instructors will be assigned to different AYUSH centers and Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across Garhwa district. Wellness activities and yoga sessions will be conducted in:
- Government Ayurvedic centers
- Homeopathic and Unani centers
- Panchayat Bhavans
- Anganwadi Centers
- Community buildings or nearest available government institutions if AYUSH centers lack space

General Instructions for Candidates
- Applications must be complete in all respects with self-attested copies of certificates and two passport-sized photographs.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the last date will be rejected.
- Candidates must bring original certificates for verification during the interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Selected candidates will not have any claim for regularization in the future. This is a purely contractual and session-based engagement.
