Vacancy Details

A total of 72 vacancies have been announced for the Clerk-Typist (Group-C) post. These positions are distributed among various reservation categories as per Maharashtra Government norms.

The pay scale for the post is S-6: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200/- plus applicable allowances as per government rules.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra Sainik Welfare Clerk-Typist Recruitment 2025

1. Nationality

Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Maharashtra to claim reservation benefits.

2. Age Limit

  • Maximum age limit: 45 years as of 05 November 2025.
  • Only those ex-servicemen whose age does not exceed 45 years on the closing date are eligible.
  • Age relaxations are applicable as per state government rules.

3. Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements:

  • Passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Must possess a Government Commercial Certificate showing a minimum Marathi typing speed of 30 words per minute.

4. Service Requirement

  • Only Ex-Servicemen who have served in the Indian Armed Forces for a minimum of 15 years are eligible to apply.
  • Those still serving and due to retire within one year from the advertisement date may also apply, provided they upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their record office.

5. Other Requirements

  • Candidates must not have more than two living children as per Maharashtra Government Resolution dated 28 March 2005.
  • They must submit a small family declaration certificate available on the official website.

Reservation Guidelines

  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/VJNT/SBC/EWS/SEBC categories will be applicable as per Maharashtra Government rules.
  • Candidates seeking reservation must possess valid certificates issued before the last date of application.
  • EWS candidates must upload the valid certificate issued as per GAD resolution dated 12 February 2019 and 31 May 2021.
  • SEBC candidates must produce certificates as per GAD Resolution No. BCC 2024/75/Reservation-3 dated 11 March 2024.

  • Each question carries 2 marks.

Post-Selection Conditions

After appointment, candidates must fulfill the following service conditions:

  1. Computer Proficiency Certification
    Must pass the government-recognized computer handling examination within 2 years of appointment, as per the Information Technology Department GR dated 04 February 2013 and subsequent amendments.
  2. Language Proficiency
    Must pass the Hindi and Marathi language examination if not already exempted or qualified.
  3. Typing Certificate
    Must obtain a valid Marathi typing certificate within 2 years from the date of appointment, as per GR No. Sankirn-2022/57/Ka.28 dated 30 May 2023.
