Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Section Officer (3235):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Drafting experience of at least 5 years as Junior Assistant or Assistant or both
- Assistant Section Officer (3236):
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Statistics
- Minimum 5 years of service as Assistant or Junior Assistant
- Assistant (1651):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of service post-degree as Junior Assistant or Assistant
- Assistant (3237):
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Statistics
- Minimum 3 years of service post-degree as Junior Assistant or Assistant
Additional Notes:
- Only service acquired after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree will be counted for eligibility.
- Candidates must be approved probationers in their current posts as of 01.08.2025.
Service Qualification
- Candidates should currently hold the post of Junior Assistant or Assistant in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or Judicial Ministerial Service.
- Drafting experience is required for evaluating service qualification for Assistant Section Officer (3235).
Physical and Medical Standards
- Candidates must submit a physical fitness certificate at the time of appointment.
- Visual acuity standard is Standard-III or better for all posts.

Step 2: Fill Online Application
- Log in using OTR credentials and complete the application for Group VA Services 2025.
